A Filmmaker's Perspective

Filmmaker and photographer Keely Kernan used a Coast XT to paddle the Mississippi River last year in an effort to make a film that explores the river, it's resources and the people that depend on them. Check out a preview and her ode to her Oru throughout this experience.

Last year, Keely filled us in on her plan to paddle the Mississippi River over a nine-month period and document the river, its resources, and the people who depend on it. We agreed that the 2018 Coast XT would be the perfect solution for all of the travel that her project entailed. 

We can't wait to see the full film, The Mighty Mississippi, but in the meantime, Keely created this short film for us about her experience on the river with her Coast. Check out additional still from her project below!
